I have been beyond obsessed with this skort for months now (and
yes I said skort, who would have thought skorts would make a come back?). For
those of you wondering, a skort is a skirt in the front with shorts in the
back. I think the last time I wore a skort was in the 3rd grade when I was
rollerblading with my neighbors, but this skort is way past something you would
wear rollerblading. This piece is something that can be dressed up with heels,
a soft-colored top, and an awesome Betsey Johnson statement necklace; yes, I
already have the best one in mind.
Or you can keep it simple on the streets of your city with
boots and a plain darker colored top, with cute bangles and a nice watch, hence
the picture above. The skort comes in both black and white, and either color
works but I personally prefer the white pair. However, I think I'll end up
getting the black one, because that way I can wear it to all these
"business casual" events my major is trying to hold. This is how the black skort looks

This piece is from one of my favorite stores,
Zara. Zara is the reason I got into fashion; it is basically the
quintessential chic and edgy brand. All of the clothes at Zara are known to
make a statement, and their prices for the most part are pretty affordable. This
skort is only $49.90 when it looks like it’s worth at least a $100 and crafted
personally by Karl Lagerfeld. I don't personally own the skort myself so I
can't comment on the fit or feel of it, but I am placing an order for it ASAP!
I have attached the link bellow just in case you want to also :)
