Introductions

Naturally when you first meet someone it is polite to introduce yourself so they get a gist of who you are based off of your name, the more interesting the better, and a fun fact about yourself, however, contrary to popular belief facts are never fun. I think It is possible that I just might have gotten used to this form of introduction since I just completed my first year of college and so far most icebreakers began like that so it is only fair to continue this trend, I don't want you guys missing out on this :) 

After long anticipation, My name is Mia and I have a fear of being under beds, not in because that would be weird haha, so naturally this made me the worlds worst hid and seek player since being 5'9 1/2  that eliminated quite a few hiding spaces. Like I said before my fun facts are never fun and I try to avoid the basic like, I am from Estonia, since that can be assumed from my blog title, or my favorite color is aqua. Now that introductions are done with on to more important information like why I made this blog? Or why should my opinions be of value to you? Well to be honest I just had way to much time on my hand and I needed to challenge myself in some way, because picking up new TV shows to watch is never a healthy habit. Also it would help to mention the reason I have such a huge interest in fashion is because my mom is a fashion designer for Boston Proper and her own brand E.G.O. by Marit Tuisk so growing up fashion was always apart of my life whether it be in the form of free samples from Boston Proper, Shoes from Italy, or getting to attend Funkshion fashion shows, MB Swim Week, or Miami International Fashion Week fashion was in my soul and all over my closet.

By having all these intense fashion influences in my life I learned from a young age that the more out there and eye catching the pieces that better. Since, my family is from Europe and European fashion is ahead of American fashion it was never a problem for me to get my hands on pieces that my classmates didn't even think to wear till next year. Granted this also came with some backfires because no matter how awesome I wanted to believe my valet pants were in middle school my classmates still thought I was wearing pants from my Halloween costume. However, by this point in my life I have learned to create a style of my own from things that grab my attention and inspire me like Vogue, music, pop culture, and my overall mood when I wake up in the morning.
If I haven't yet convinced you of my validity in some way it doesn't hurt to mention I get compliments on my outfits :) I hope this blog will help bring inspiration into your clothes whether it just is with one article of clothing or a whole style.
